Size matters?????

I thought I would tidy my fabrics this evening... (Not because I have nothing else to b doing but because I have lots of things to do but don't want to do them.. Ironing, dishes, paperwork etc)...You get my drift! This is my stash! It's tiny compared to some I've seen but I love all the colours and textures of all these.. (Even the ugly orange one I felt sorry for)! The photo doesnt make it look like very much but.. Size isnt everything ....is it??!!

Lost Taggy =non sleeping baby= make new one

I made a wee Taggy blanket for my friends baby and she loves it,but lost it on holidays, and she is now lost without it!! It's so lovely to know that something I've made can provide comfort for someone!! I love making them too! this evening I made another up.. And my husband provided dessert to have with my tea after... Yum!! X

Over egging the pudding!!!

I started this wee project a few weeks ago and i think its now finished! I do think it could have a few more twigs/branches or flowers added but I do have a tendency at times to keep going when actually I should just stop.. So I've stopped! Just will get a wee frame for it! I'm glad how it turned out and can't wait to do more embroidery like this!! Would also

Is there an extra hour to spare anywhere??

Life is so so busy I can't get to do anything!! Work.. Sleep.. Family.. Work.. Sleep .. Family !! Sat today at dinner and drew a wee pic... These two are very entertaining! Hope u all are well and keeping busy too. X

Wonky stuff

Affter a bleaching our house to ensure vomiting bug does not return I have made my way through the study/ironing/sewing room (and the pile of ironing--- a pink job-- as my husband calls it!!) to my lovely friend ... Pfaff 2042 to reacquaint myself with its trot/canter/gallop just like a workhorse!! I've started working on my wonky star cushion as I've missed a few of Judith's classes and need to catch up!! I think I'm very good as wonky things as I tend to through things together a bit.. So I'm enjoying this project!! Have to do sashes around the edges and quilt it but I love it already . Might make some more of them for the living room as have more fabric left over!!

My wee queen!!

Doesn't she look just like the queen mother!! And she has the best royal wave!

Not much sewing done due to a bug in the house causing all of us to be struck down by vomiting but hoping I will get to do some in next few days!

Very jealous hearing about all u that were at FQR! Maybe next year for me x
